Recording

Overview

Recordings can be used to save audio/video files for offline viewing. Between supports local and cloud recording. Recordings are saved as an .mp4 file. Default output is at 1280x720, 30 fps. You can configure the output settings of your recordings such as resolution, framerate, bitrate, and more.

Cloud Recording

Recordings are stored in the Between cloud until deleted through the API or the Between dashboard.

Local Recording

Local recording saves the finished recording as an .mp4 file on the Peer’s computer after the call ends. You may configure the filetype to be .webm as well, but the file may need to be transcoded.

Recording is not yet available on the Between API and will be available soon.
